Description
Thunderbird 7 (TB-7) is a High Speed Mini Aircraft. Kept Aboard Thunderbird 1 (TB-1) for specialized rescue operations and as escape craft. Specially designed for vertical lift-off and landing. The variable geometry wings were used for high speed aerial/inner atmosphere operation and in storage in TB-1's Starboard Wing Bay.
TB-7 and TB-8/Thunderbirds 7 and 8 are fast interceptor aircraft which can be stored either inside TB-1 or TB-2 and used as drones. The only difference between them is that TB-7 has VTOL capability.
Here shown TB-7, TB-8, and their mother ship, the TB-1.
From Thunderbirds 2086 series.

I still don't understand the need for any more than five Thunderbird machines. Especially since this version's Thunderbird 3 is a road vehicle.
