An Alternate Universe of the Russian Knights using the single seat Su-53M.
The Russian Knights (Russian: Русские Витязи, Russkiye Vityazi) is an aerobatic demonstration team of the Russian Air Force.
Like the real world, The team performs with four Su-53Ms (replacing Su-27Ps) and two Su-55Ms (replacing Su-27UBs).
The Sukhoi Su-53M (Cyrillic: Сухой Су-53) (NATO reporting name Frigate-C), is a Big Modification of the Su-53 incorporating advanced technology from the IFX-35C variant. The third variant of the Hybrid Pulse Detonation - Afterburning Turbofans engines, single-seat super-maneuverable multirole fighter with upgraded avionics, heavily-modifications to the wing ("aerolasting wings"), improved engines, greater fuel capacity, Side Weapon Bays, and software changes.
Designed and developed by collaborative Sentry Aerospace-Sukhoi-EADS, and built by Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO), as a result of a direct Request for Tender between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Indonesia (in my own alternate universe).
It's only differences, is different style of Cockpit Canopy, nose gear, smaller horizontal stabilizers, and features multi-national languages program of its avionic on board computer, also its AI computer system. Its flight and combat performances is similar to its twin sister, the IFX-35C Cygnus.
General characteristics:
Crew: 1 (pilot)
Powerplant: 2× Lambda Power LTF 3000V-3D afterburning with three dimensional thrust-vectored turbofans of 350 kN each. Combined with 4 x Revised Pulse Detonation/Scramjet engines.
Maximum speed: Mach 5+
Range: Classified
Service ceiling: >50,000 ft (15,000 m)
