, it's role as a demonstrator aircraft, testing the experimental Hybrid Turbo Fan - Pulse Detonation Hybrid / Scramjet engines, also enhanced Stealth from titanium-ceramic composite skin, and enhanced fighter maneuverability. The major differences are reinforced cockpit canopy, short tail boom, enlarge Delta Wing, horizontal stabilizers, small fixed front canard, and Dorsal Engine Air Intakes.
The weapon bay has been used for extra fuel tanks, contains experimental catalized A-1 metane, used for the Pulse Detonation engines .

Powerplant: 2× Lambda Power LTF 3000V-3D afterburning with three dimensional thrust-vectored turbofans of 350 kN each. Combined with 4 x Argus II experimental Pulse Detonation/Scramjet engines.

The two center wing Pods has been removed for redesigned aerolastic delta wing.
