Description

IFX-35D Cygnus
Improved two seat variant, all-weather air-superiority fighter version. Although designed as fighter, it able to perform multi-role mission such as ground attack, reconnaissance, and air defense missions with "mild" stealth capability.

The IFX-35D is descended from the IFX-35B haryopanji.deviantart.com/art/… , with the differences of two center wing Pods has been removed for redesigned aerolastic delta wing, and Enlarge Horizontal Stabilizer back fins for increase air to air dogfight maneuverability. Designed and built by an aerospace industry team led by Sentry Aerospace.

Similar to IFX-35C haryopanji.deviantart.com/art/… , some improvements over current-generation fighter aircraft are:

Durable, low-maintenance stealth technology, using structural fiber mat instead of the high-maintenance coatings of legacy stealth platforms like F-35 Lightning II

Integrated avionics and sensor fusion that combine information from off- and on-board sensors to increase the pilot's situational awareness and improve target identification and weapon delivery, and to relay information quickly to other command and control (C2) nodes.

High speed data networking and Fibre Channel (Fibre Channel is also used on Boeing's Super Hornet).

The Autonomic Logistics Global Sustainment (ALGS), Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) are to help ensure aircraft uptime with minimal maintenance manpower.

Electrohydrostatic actuators run by a power-by-wire flight-control system.

Lightweight, powerful and volatile Lithium-ion batteries. These are required to provide power to run the control surfaces in an emergency.

The IFX-35C/D features two internal weapons side bays, One internal ventral weapon bay, and external hardpoints for mounting up to four underwing pylons and two near wingtip pylons. The two outer hardpoints and side weapon bays can carry pylons for the AIM-9X Sidewinder and AIM-132 ASRAAM short-range air-to-air missiles (AAM) only. The other pylons can carry the AIM-120 AMRAAM BVR AAM, Storm Shadow cruise missile, AGM-158 Joint Air to Surface Stand-off Missile (JASSM) cruise missile, and guided bombs. The external pylons can carry missiles, bombs, and fuel tanks at the expense of reduced stealth.

Nice designes!  I would only recommend one possible change: 2D vectoring nozzles instead of the "barrel" nozzles shown.  Something like the American F-22A Raptors use.  That would give it that last "future" touch to make it look really remarkable.  Overall, however, a very nice concept.  :-)
